 Adidas Celebrates Pokémon’s 30th Anniversary With a Massive Sneaker Collection. Pokémon is turning 30, and adidas is marking the milestone with one of its most character-packed footwear collaborations yet. The new Pokémon x adidas 30th Anniversary collection brings the world of Pokémon into several of adidas’ most recognizable sneaker silhouettes, combining classic footwear designs with details inspired by some of the franchise’s most recognizable characters. As of February 2025, T-Mobile continues to solidify its position as a leader in the telecommunications industry through strategic initiatives and technological advancements. A significant development is the wide-scale testing of its satellite-to-cell service in collaboration with SpaceX's Starlink. 


This initiative aims to eliminate mobile dead zones by providing connectivity in remote areas. The beta trial is currently free until July, after which it will be included in T-Mobile's premium Go5G Next plan at no extra cost and can be added to other plans for $15 a month post-commercial launch this summer. Initially offering text services, the company plans to expand to voice and data features later. This service is compatible with most smartphones from the past four years and is integrated with Apple and Google's operating systems. 


Financially, T-Mobile has demonstrated robust performance. 

The company reported a net addition of 865,000 monthly phone subscribers in the last quarter, surpassing analysts' expectations. This growth has led T-Mobile to raise its forecasts for new customers and earnings for the year. 


In terms of corporate strategy, T-Mobile announced plans to acquire U.S. Cellular's wireless operations and certain spectrum assets in a deal valued at $4.4 billion. This acquisition is expected to add over 4 million new customers and enhance T-Mobile's spectrum holdings, particularly benefiting underserved rural areas. 


However,

 T-Mobile has faced challenges in cybersecurity. In late 2024, the company settled with the Federal Communications Commission over repeated data breaches, agreeing to a $15.75 million fine and committing to significant investments in cybersecurity enhancements. These improvements include adopting a zero-trust architecture and implementing robust identity and access management protocols.

T-Mobile's recent initiatives and financial performance underscore its commitment to innovation and growth, while also highlighting the importance of addressing cybersecurity vulnerabilities to maintain customer trust.
