DreamWorks Animation ’s latest animated adventure, Forgotten Island, has begun its theatrical run with $12.8 million at the domestic box office. The film arrived in theaters on September 25, attracting audiences with its fantasy setting, colorful animation and story centered on friendship. During its opening weekend, the movie played in 3,548 theaters across North America. It earned approximately $4.37 million on Friday, followed by $4.96 million on Saturday. Sunday’s earnings brought its three-day domestic total to $12.8 million. The film finished fifth at the domestic box office. International audiences have also contributed to the movie’s opening performance. Including overseas ticket sales, Forgotten Island has collected approximately $20.6 million worldwide, with $7.8 million coming from international markets. ملتان میں سردیوں کے مقبول میوے چلغوزے کی قیمت میں نمایاں کمی دیکھنے میں آئی ہے، جس کے بعد شہریوں کی دلچسپی ایک بار پھر بڑھ گئی ہے۔

گزشتہ سال 16 ہزار روپے فی کلو فروخت ہونے والا چلغوزہ اس وقت 8 ہزار روپے کلو میں دستیاب ہے، یعنی اس کی قیمت میں 8 ہزار روپے فی کلو کی کمی واقع ہوئی ہے۔

رواں سال چلغوزے کی فصل معمول سے کہیں زیادہ ہوئی ہے، جس کے باعث مارکیٹ میں سپلائی میں اضافہ اور قیمتوں میں نمایاں کمی دیکھنے میں آئی ہے۔


کہ اب جب چلغوزہ سستا ہو گیا ہے تو وہ بلا جھجک خریداری کر رہے ہیں۔ ایک شہری نے مسکراتے ہوئے کہا کہ “پچھلے سال چلغوزہ صرف سوچ کر ہی کھاتے تھے، اب خوب دل کھول کر خرید رہے ہیں، سردیوں کی محفلیں پھر سے مکمل ہو گئی ہیں۔”
