The Islamabad Expressway and other important routes experienced severe traffic disruption as authorities worked to keep roads accessible. The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have declared Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir the hero of 2025, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.


Field Marshal Asim Munir strengthened Pakistan’s national security, sovereignty, economy and prestige on the global stage, they maintained.


The people said that under his leadership, Pakistan Armed Forces taught India a punishing lesson in Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos demonstrating that Pakistan is a strong country militarily.


They said that Pakistan’s importance has been recognized by the international community due to the Field Marshal’s military diplomacy.


The people said the Army Chief’s efforts, especially in controlling inflation and promoting investment with major countries, are commendable.
